My Redmi Note 3 Pro

Hello my friends 👋 it's been quite a long time since my last post. This time I want to share about a phone from Xiaomi, it's Redmi Note 3 Pro (codename: Kenzo). It's not a new model, but I can say that it's one of Xiaomi best phones. Redmi Note 3 Pro (RN3P) was first announced in January 2016...well it's old enough for a cellphone, isn't it?




So, what makes RN3P being special? The most important thing that make RN3P being special is the community support from its users. In Indonesia, RN3P Facebook Group has more than 200k members, where they can discuss about anything related to RN3P, also share lot of tips and mods made for this device. Common problems are well documented too for easy solutions.


Large technical supports from well known developers also make RN3P even greater. More than 10 custom roms,  kernels, and mods are developed to enhance RN3P user experience. You can visit this link to see the complete list about it. Well, it's from me right now...I still exploring to enhance this device to the limit 😉

For closing notes, my RN3P system now is using:

1. AEX (AOSP Extended) 5.6 Oreo with June 2018 security patch
2. MagiskSU 16.0 with some wonderful modules: Android P Emoji (Unicode 11.0 emojis), YouTube Vanced Black Themed (NoAds YouTube), Viper4Android FX (Audio Mods), GPU Turbo Boost (Increase GPU Power but decrease Power Consumption), Audio Compatibility Patch, and Audio Modification Library (to allow seamless integration of multiple audio mods)
3. GCam Mod: camera mod with portrait mode and HDR+
